- Webinar - Modeling Function Variants with Simulink®/TargetLink
Contents of the Webinar
Many situations require the ability to model optional functionality or different variants of a function.
In the automotive industry, for example, a modern car consists of numerous features that customers can choose from, with thousands of possible configurations. These configurations also impact on ECU functionality and thus on the models that define that functionality. Creating a separate model for each variant or configuration is not an option.
Function developers and software engineers therefore have to create reusable models that support and include variants and variant-specific model parts. The variants can be selected and bound during code generation, during compilation or at run time. This webinar describes methods and techniques to realize function variants with Simulink/TargetLink, as well as common and important patterns for modeling function variants. It also shows how to configure the variants for different binding times.
Presentations and tool demonstrations will be used to illustrate these topics.
